In Mr McKernan’s class we have been working with the Department for Infrastructure on our Stage 2 Practical Child Pedestrian Safety Training Scheme.
We have been learning about road safety but also about active travel.
Last week one of our P3 students even cycled to school.
Gareth from the Department would encourage the children to think of an active way to travel.
Could you try on of these things this week.
1. Walk to school
2. Park and walk. (Walk from Charlie’s shop for the last bit of your journey)
3. Scooter
4. Cycle
5. Run
