On Friday we had to say goodbye to our amazing cook, Avril. We were delighted to be joined by members of Avril's family, along with friends and past colleagues. We were also joined by Sylvia Thompson who was retiring from St. Patrick's Primary School on Friday too. The children performed songs and poems for Avril, which was then followed by speeches. Mrs Wauchope, who is currently working in the P1 & 2 classroom, made a delicious cake for Avril which was kindly shared with all of the pupils today. Avril was delighted with the event and was very grateful for all the gifts and money she received. Hopefully we will see her again soon!
